A large fire broke out at a caravan camp on Brestlaan in Eindhoven on Sunday. A caravan is completely burnt out. Two other caravans were badly damaged. “We are trying to save what can be saved,” said a fire service spokesman.
The fire broke out around 2 a.m. in a parked car near one of the caravans. The fire then spread to the caravans. Photos show that three cars were also burned out.
One of the caravans is completely burnt out. The caravans that are left and right next to that chalet are kept wet by the fire brigade. It is clear that these caravans also suffer a lot of damage. Reception is arranged for the residents of the affected caravans.
No people were injured. Two people did inhale smoke. The paramedics checked those people.
The fire was accompanied by considerable smoke development. Clouds of black smoke were clearly visible in the area. Several explosions were heard, presumably exploding gas cylinders.
