Striker Ludovic Ajorque from relegation-threatened Bundesliga club FSV Mainz 05 suffered a broken nose in the catch-up game against Union Berlin on Wednesday (1-1). As Mainz announced, the Frenchman will play the upcoming games with a mask.
Ajorque was hit in the face with his foot by Union’s Robin Knoche in the penalty area in the first half and had to be treated for a long time. The Mainz team did not receive the penalty they demanded.
