The relegation-threatened Bundesliga club FSV Mainz 05 will travel to the training camp in Marbella on Tuesday without Stefan Bell and Nelson Weiper.
Bell is suffering from a bacterial infection, Weiper suffered a small setback in individual training after his knee injury. The Mainz team announced this on Monday evening. South Korea’s Jae-sung Lee is missing due to his participation in the Asian Cup.
Niko Bungert and Sören Hartung are traveling to Andalusia as new assistant coaches. Mainz are in the relegation zone with just ten points after 16 games.
