Bahlingen objection against rating
A doping procedure has been initiated against U19 national player Keanu Kraft. As reported by the Regionalliga Südwest, the 19-year-old right-back from Mainz 05 was found in a doping control on August 28th after the FSV-Reserve game against Bahlinger SC detected in high amounts.
Kraft did not analyze the B sample. After the results were announced, those responsible initiated a sports court procedure. Opponent Bahlinger SC has lodged an appeal with the sports court against the rating of the game lost 1:2 on the fourth day of the game because of the offence. Kraft has not been used since the fifth matchday. Mainz explained that the club and Kraft would cooperate closely with the association in the process.
On August 28, 2022, doping controls were carried out after the game Mainz 05 II – Bahlinger SC. The substance carboxy-THC, which is on the doping ban list, was detected in the case of the Mainz player Keanu Kraft in a quantity above the decision limit.
