“We would all have preferred to play football on Saturday. But we are relieved that the DFL followed our request. This is a decision in the interests of fair competition and the health of the players,” said FSV sports director Christian Heidel. Most recently, Mainz reported the 20th corona case.
When will a Bundesliga game be postponed?
According to the DFL rules of the game, an application for a transfer can be granted if fewer than 16 players are available. Among them must be at least nine licensed players and among them one goalkeeper. Injured or banned actors count as available and not in the absences.
