Myrskyluoto’s Maija gathered nearly 50,000 viewers on the opening weekend.
Tiina Lymin directed and produced by Solar Films, Myrskyluoto Maija attracted 45,931 viewers during the premiere weekend and previews.
It’s an exceptionally good read, when you also take into account that it’s an almost three-hour long Swedish-language film.

Myrskyluoto Maija will be seen in the main roles Amanda Jansson and Linus Troedsson.

The film is based on Anni Blomqvist’s novel of the same name.
Myrskyluoto’s Maija has also been selected for the Gothenburg and Rotterdam film festivals.
