Mahdi wants more clarity about residence applications in Belgium with new royal decree

State Secretary for Asylum and Migration Sammy Mahdi (CD&V) wants to create more clarity and put an end to the arbitrariness surrounding residence applications in our country. For this reason, a new Royal Decree (RD) now fixes the costs associated with the applications. In addition, the Royal Decree corrects an anomaly from the past that caused foreign nationals to go to court because the fee for their application was not calculated correctly.
