CD&V chairman Sammy Mahdi does not want to know about a link between the child benefit and the school invoice. He made this clear today in a press release. Flemish Minister of Education Ben Weyts (N-VA) previously suggested in De Ochtend on Radio 1 that the government could transfer all or part of the money directly to the schools, “so that we are guaranteed that it will be usefully spent.”
