Erasmus Park reopened after EOD investigation
Amsterdam – A magnet fisherman made a very special discovery on Tuesday morning when he fished up several firearms, two hand grenades and several bullets in the Erasmus Park in Amsterdam. The fisherman reported this to the police, after which the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (EOD) came by for an investigation. Part of the Erasmus Park was therefore evacuated this morning, but was released again at 12.34 pm, a police spokesperson reported.
