Douma was not the only athlete from North Holland with success at the Dutch Athletics Championships. Djoao Lobles from Den Helder won the 800 meters. The 21-year-old passed after 1:48.04, which made him slightly faster than Maarten Plaum (1:48.16) and Rick (1:48.24).
Lobles has already won gold twice at the NK indoor at 800 meters (2020 and 2021). At the Dutch National Championships he was already the best once in 2020, last year he took bronze.
