Berlin (AP) – Despite Marvin Plattenhardt’s injury, Hertha coach Felix Magath is hoping for his left-back to play in the next game at Arminia Bielefeld.
The 30-year-old ex-national player suffered an adductor injury in the first half of the 2-0 win in the Bundesliga against VfB Stuttgart on Sunday and had to be replaced during the break.
An exact diagnosis should be made on Monday. “At the moment I’m hoping that he will come back during the week,” said Magath. Plattenhardt is set in the starting XI under the new coach. Against Stuttgart he gave the template to 1-0 through Davie Selke.
