Pop superstar Madonna chose a well-known luxury hotel for her stay in Cologne.
Plays on Wednesday evening (November 15th). Madonna the first of four Germany concerts on their “The Celebration Tour” in Cologne. The pop megastar arrived in the city on the Rhine the day before in the pouring rain.
As “Bild” reports, the musician landed at Cologne/Bonn Airport on Tuesday evening in a private plane from Paris. Then she and her team were chauffeured in a limousine to the luxury hotel Excelsior Ernst. She had already lived there during her Cologne appearance in 2015. The hotel is very popular with celebrities – in addition to Madonna, Robbie Williams and King (then Prince) Charles have also stayed there. During her last stay at the Excelsior Ernst in 2015, she was welcomed by a large group of enthusiastic fans:
When she arrived, Madonna was wearing a black cap and large sunglasses – her bodyguard was holding her umbrella. The musician is playing another concert in Cologne the following day, and two Berlin concerts are on the program at the end of November.
