Madonna films her life so that “women-hating men” don’t do it

Only one person managed to top the charts in five different decades. Of course we are talking about Madonna. Now the life of the pop icon is to be filmed. The singer directs it herself, otherwise the project would be taken over by “women-hating men”.

“I’ve had an extraordinary life, so I have to make an extraordinary film,” Madonna told Variety. The project is also a “pre-emptive strike” against attempts by “misogynous men” to make a film about them. “Only I can tell this story,” she clarified.

Script needs to be shortened

When asked what stage the film is in, the singer replied, “I have a very long script and it’s really difficult to cut it down.” It feels like “chopping off” your own limbs.

The screenplay was co-written with Diablo Cody, who won an Oscar for the script of Juno in 2007. Ozark actress Julia Garner is expected to star. After the casting, she is said to have been offered the role of Madonna.
