Madonna botches song announcement: ‘Wait for the cocaine to work’

Actually, Madonna only wanted to announce a remix of her hit “Frozen” on Instagram. But the fan speech just didn’t want to go in an orderly manner. “This is Madonna, the mother of Jesus,” she greets her followers – she wears a tight patent leather outfit, two crosses adorn her décolleté.

“Wait for the cocaine to take effect.”

Then several cuts can be seen in the video. Among other things, the 63-year-old takes a sip of white wine and asks the alleged director of the clip if it was big enough. The “Queen of Pop” continued: “Hello, I’m drunk”. After a dance interlude, the grotesque culminates in a hand movement with which Madonna pulls her nose up: “Wait until the cocaine takes effect.”, she then speaks into the camera and then sounds pompously: “No one touches me!”.

A remix of the remix of the hit

The burst of energy finally allows the musician to put her actual plan into action – and to refer to the remix of her hits “Frozen”, which was released on December 21 last year and which she created together with the musician Sickick. A remix of the remix featuring Nigerian singer Fireboy DML was released on March 3rd. The song was originally released in 1998.

Whether Madonna played with the well-known rock star quirks in the video and wanted to tease her fans or whether it was real cocaine cannot be finally clarified – but we bet on the former.
