“Matthew Perry’s death touched me particularly. I found him to be a particularly sweet and talented comedian. I was 14 years old when I got all the seasons of Frendi on DVD as a gift for Christmas 2009, and I spent the entire Christmas holiday in my pajamas on the couch watching Friends with my friends and family. It was the best Christmas vacation ever. I watched Friends many times over the years, and at the end of a long school day I could put the occasional episode on. Frendit was the funniest series I had ever watched back then. I felt that the Actors were perfect in their roles, the series was very well written and the quality of the series never decreased. Matthew Perry’s Chandler is one of the best TV comedy characters ever created. I identified with Chandler’s need to deal with his emotions through humor, and I learned from Chandler the ability to use sarcasm as a weapon. Chandler was my favorite character on TV, and I am forever grateful for how much joy Matthew Perry brought to my life.”
