And the location can be called quite brutal: the employees of the Tussauds branch in Blackpool placed the image of the ‘unemployed’ prime minister in front of a ‘jobs centre’, say a local VDAB. The local youth thought it was hilarious, and were more than happy to have their picture taken with the grinning image of BoJo.
Madame Tussauds also confirmed that the statue will be officially removed from the exhibit when Johnson is replaced. In the meantime, the museum has already updated its 10 Downing Street display with a “open vacancy” sign on it.
