Stars of the jungle -reality program returns to the screen Jungle stars -mark. Although the format is renewed, there is a new host of the program Shirly Karvinen promised that the new season will feature the drama loved by the fans of the series.
To celebrate the return of the popular series, Iltalehti collected memorable drama twists from the show’s three previous seasons. The first production season was shown in 2012, the second in 2013 and the third in 2014.
Name-calling and death threats
In the third episode of the first season, a wellness coach Martina Aitolehti barked the Blonds of the opposing team with cruel words of force. Long war of words media personality Maisa Torpan and Aitolehti got into a heated fight, which could have gotten worse without the host’s intervention.
Torppa had said something nasty to Aitolehti, which caused the wellness coach to issue a death threat to the media person. Afterwards, Torppa told Subi in an interview that he told Martina the worst thing he knew about her, but refused to reveal what it was about.
The arguments between the two eventually got so bad that they were both sent home in the middle of the season. Those who were in the same season after the competition Iida Ketola and Sara Sieppi have described Aitolehte as the most treacherous competitor in the series.

Niko Saarinen’s iconic statement
The second season started immediately with signs of controversy. For example, a fitness star Emmi Lehtomaa and radio host Niko Saarinen clashed quite violently. At that time, Saarinen’s legendary statement was heard.
– I’m a badass, Saarinen shouted to Lehtomaa.

Today, working as a sun house Katri Sorsa (now Haapanen) was not always a churchgoer. In the second season of Viidako stätöset, he was a former chat host who was very open about his intimate affairs – that trait has remained in him to this day.

Kiuru promoted the third season on his Instagram account, when it was still coming in, with a group photo. The publication caused consternation on social media, because the face of one of the stars in the picture was blackened. The other contestants were amused by this, but the victim of image manipulation Marianne Kallio didn’t like teasing at all.
– Thanks for the adult behavior, ladies! Kallio wrote on his Facebook page at the time.

The star stopped the race already at the airport
In the first episode of the third season, Miss Estonia Kristina Karjalainen arrived at the airport to announce that he will not be going to Thailand to compete with the other stars. At that time, he told Iltalehte that the reason behind the suspension was tooth infection.
– Unfortunately, I couldn’t join because I have two infected teeth, Karjakainen told Iltalehte.
– I have been in bad shape for a really long time and my teeth have to be cut out. I can’t get any more antibiotics, I’ve already taken two courses.
