In the second quarter of the year, the Italian luxury label Gucci, which is in a race for the top spot with its Spanish rival Balenciaga, regained the top spot. In third and fourth place of the most popular brands are the two Italian luxury fashion houses Prada and Valentino, followed by the French luxury label Louis Vuitton.
Lyst experts cite Gucci’s “Cosmogony” Resort ’23 collection, the Ha Ha Ha collection in collaboration with Harry Styles and the Gucci x Adidas collection as hits. Balenciaga countered with the presentation of the SS ’23 collection at the New York Stock Exchange, the second edition of the Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga and the launch of 100 pairs of “extra destroyed” sneakers.
Dior, Miu Miu, Fendi, Diesel and Burberry make up the rest of the top ten. Places 11 to 20 are occupied by Versace, Nike, Adidas, Loewe, Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Moncler, Off-White and Jacquemus, in that order.
The most desirable products
For women’s products, Diesel’s 1DR handbag came out on top, followed by the Adidas x Gazelle sneaker. Third place went to Jean Paul Gaultier x Lotta Volkova’s Naked Dress and Jaded London’s Balenciaga’s La Cagole small shoulder bag and cargo pants.
For men, the Adidas Originals x Wales Bonner Samba sneaker took first place, followed by Boston clogs in suede. The Yeezy Gap engineered by Balenciaga Dove Hoodie took third place, respectively Gucci’s 1953 Horsebit Loafers and Levi’s 469 loose fit denim shorts fourth and fifth.
