Lyle & Scott will be responsible for kidswear itself from spring/summer 2024.
The move is part of the British brand’s growth plan and part of efforts over the past decade to “further increase the brand’s appeal,” Lyle & Scott said on Wednesday. Alex Foley is in charge of this area, tasked with expanding the age range from six months to 60.
“It is a privilege to take on the baton of children’s clothing from BMG and to build on the brilliant work that has been done to date,” said Foley. “We have assembled a fantastic team to ensure Lyle & Scott absolutely meets the needs of the next generation of customers and their parents. This new strategic path will help support Lyle & Scott’s direction for years to come.”
BMG has been the licensee for Lyle & Scott children’s clothing for the past seven years.
