23 startups have been selected to participate in the seventh round of LVMH startup’s La Maison, a funding program aimed at bringing new services and innovative products to the luxury industry.
The six-month programme, based at Station F, a campus for start-ups in Paris, aims to foster creativity and innovation while building a community of individuals dedicated to shaping tomorrow’s luxury. The program was launched in April 2018 to give start-ups a quick entry into the luxury industry and has already resulted in more than 285 collaborations.
The startups will participate in demo sessions and e-workshops, allowing them to pitch ideas that incorporate industry-specific innovation needs to LVMH and its associated fashion houses. The ideas relate to all of LVMH’s businesses – from fashion and leather goods to perfume and cosmetics, watches and jewellery, wines and spirits to selective retail, hospitality and media.
In the seventh round of LVMH’s La Maison, 23 global startups will be selected to work with the houses of LVMH on six strategic themes: 3D and Virtual Product Experience, Omnichannel and Retail, Employee Experience and CSR, Operations and Manufacturing Excellence, Media and brand awareness and sustainability.
Biophilica, NWO and Altava are among the participating startups
NWO.ai specializes in spotting emerging consumer trends and understanding the factors behind them before those trends become exponential. Altava fuses technology and fashion, enabling brands to enter the metaverse via virtual spaces to digitize collections in a fully branded and bespoke environment.
