LVMH launches entertainment division

LVMH has launched its own entertainment company.

French luxury goods group Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton’s (LVMH) newly formed company 22 Montaigne Entertainment is focusing on collaborations with leading creatives in the entertainment industry, several media outlets, including the international news agency Reuters and the US industry magazine Women’s Wear Daily, reported on Thursday. In this way, the company is intended to support the development, production and financing of film, television and audio formats.

22 Montaigne Entertainment was launched in cooperation with the US business consultancy Superconnector Studios and their co-founders Jae Goodman and John Kaplan. Antoine Arnault, son of LVMH boss Bernard Arnault, is co-managing director of the company. He previously worked for the LVMH subsidiary and Fashion brand Berluti responsible. Anish Melwani, who was CEO of the North America region at LVMH, also holds a leadership position at 22 Montaigne Entertainment.

It is named after the address of LVMH’s headquarters at 22 Rue Montaigne in Paris.
