LUVRE47 is releasing “G-Block”, the third single from his upcoming album.
Exactly two years to the day after his debut album HERZ, LUVRE47 will release the successor THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING on February 2, 2024. The rapper gave another taste of the sound of the record with his single “G-Block”.

At the beginning of 2023, LUVRE47 delivered the soundtrack to the film “Sonne und Beton” with “Hinterm Block”, and now he is releasing “G-Block”, the third single from his upcoming LP DANKE FOR EVERYTHING. In 22 bars and one hook he raps about life in his home district of Gropiusstadt. Lyrically, it deals with what it’s like to grow up with no prospects and sometimes lose friends. He portrays Gropiusstadt as an environment that hardens you and yet at the same time often causes pain. The Berlin native also gives an insight into his emotional world: “There’s war in my head, cracks deep in my heart / Far too many bad days, but my pain never breaks me,” it says in the track.

While “G-Block” is pure street rap, LUVRE47 showed in his previous singles that he can also make quieter, more emotional songs. In “No Power” and “Shoe Polish” he raps on a slower beat about his life experiences and poverty, making this a slightly poppier sound that is enveloped in a gentle melody. Accordingly, it remains exciting to see whether you will hear just as many musical facets on DANKE FOR EVERYTHING.
