Rob Kemps who left his family with young children? That doesn’t sit well with many people. But then to also showcase your new love happiness with your background dancer in such a big way on Instagram? Many people think this is downright nauseating and hurtful towards his ex-lover who is responsible for raising their children.

‘People don’t believe Rob!’

To prove to people that he really is a good dad, Rob shares countless Instagram photos on Dad’s Day.stories of his offspring. “I have the feeling that Rob Kemps is rowing against the current a bit,” analyzes Luuk Ikink, the presenter of RTL Boulevard, in The BLVD Podcast.

According to Luuk, Rob Kemps would be better off giving up. “I think he really wants to tell me that he really is a nice boy. That everything went in complete harmony with his family. But people don’t really believe that.”

Different look

His co-host Rob Goossens agrees. “Well, you’re taking the words right out of my mouth, because we’ve seen him at Beau’s recently, among other things. That’s just fun. He does that just as much fun as before.”

Luuk: “Yes, right?”

Rob G.: “And yet you now look at it with a different perspective.”

Luuk: “But does it really only have to do with the fact that he is away from his young family and has a new nice girlfriend with whom he goes on all kinds of fun trips?”

New bimbo

What does Rob G. think about that? “I think it’s mainly the latter, because yes, people break up, that just happens. (…) But then you suddenly throw a kind of tsunami of photos over us with your new bimbo on the internet… That has actually permanently destroyed something in how we look at him. And that is very stupid.”

Luuk points out that the first year after giving birth is certainly intense for love couples. “And when you talk about your new girlfriend when you have just broken up: ‘Well, with you everything is more beautiful and everything is more fun’, and you have all those beautiful photos from Paris, then everyone thinks: yes, but your ex is at home with the kids.”

Imaging

That perception is disastrous for Rob, according to Luuk. “We don’t know at all whether that is the case, but you get that picture right away. And that is difficult to reverse.”

Rob G.: “Yes, and it is a cliché, but everything is more beautiful than a poopy diaper.”
