Luuk Ikink mercilessly lashes out at Waldemar Torenstra. He thinks the actor is acting ‘lousy’ in the drama series Five Live, in which he plays the ex-lover of Linda de Mol’s character.
Linda de Mol has to endure a lot of criticism for her drama series Five Live. That’s not surprising, because it’s just a really bad series. That is what the ratings are based on: for the first time in her career, Linda does not manage to conquer a place in the top 25 ratings with one of her programs.
Beginning of the end
The fact that only 329 thousand people watch Five Live is very painful, according to Luuk. “It’s the beginning of the end really,” he says in The BLVD Podcast.
Luuk himself thinks that the series looks quite nice. “So I’m a fan of the series. I’m a little ashamed of it.”
Colleague Rob Goossens replied: “You’re not serious. You just got a call from our editor-in-chief of: ‘Luuk, would you please say something nice about Linda de Mol and her series, because Rob will soon be going wild again and we also have to keep Linda a bit close to us.’”
‘Waldemar is lousy!’
Luuk then: “No, I’m also a bit ashamed of it, but I’ve watched all four episodes and I’m actually looking a bit with the same feeling as Gooische Vrouwen. The sun always shines, the actors are a bit the same… There is a little worse acting.”
Who is the worst actor in the series? “For example, I normally think Waldemar is a very good actor and he’s acting pretty lousy now. He also has a really bad wig on.”
But, says Luuk: “Nevertheless, I enjoy watching it every time.”
Smile
Which character does Luke think is well played? “I think the make-up artist has a nice spontaneous and funny role.”
He concludes: “It’s not as good as Gooische Vrouwen, but it’s entertaining and I’m always watching with a smile.”
