Luuk Ikink is always eating quite a bit while watching Shownieuws. He would never consider a transfer to that show section. “No definitely not. Ever? No, neither.”
Where in the past RTL Boulevard was regularly accused that colleagues were very badly kept above their heads – think especially of the Humberto Tan affair – nowadays it is mainly Shownieuws that deals with this. Luke is eating himself
Luuk can’t watch Shownieuws without getting annoyed, he admits in the Weekend. “I have children, so sometimes it’s a little late for me, haha. I always find it entertaining to watch. Although I sometimes eat myself up, I can get annoyed by the opinions they have and sometimes they don’t.”
That’s only good, he continues. “That’s how it should be, I think. With those kinds of programs you also have to bite and eat yourself a bit. Shownieuws has that, I hope we have that and there are more programs like that.”
A transfer? Never!
In any case, they don’t have to call Luuk to switch to Shownieuws. “Haha! No, I’m on top of Boulevard. So no, definitely not. Ever? No, neither. But that is not necessary, because I have just signed for three years.”
Does he actually want to do something else besides Boulevard? No, he says. “My days are really full at Boulevard. I make 260 episodes a year, that’s a lot.”
