Luuk Ikink distrusts daughter Linda de Mol: ‘Completely prepared’

The major interview that Noa Vahle gave to her mother Linda de Mol’s magazine has led to a lot of criticism, especially because she very much plays the victim role on behalf of her mother. Moreover, according to media critic Victor Vlam, there is ‘nothing spontaneous about it at all’. According to him, the interview was scripted from A to Z.

Leaf from mom

Luuk Ikink understands that distrust. He also says that it doesn’t seem very strong that Noa chooses exclusively for her mother’s magazine The BLVD Podcast. “It was a candid interview, but, you immediately think, it is in her mother’s magazine. So that is of course completely prepared, I think, for such an interview.”

This is all arranged at Linda’s kitchen table, says colleague Rob Goossens. “There were different conversations about that than if Margriet had said: ‘Hey, we would like to interview Noah Vahle.’”

Same manager

According to Rob, it doesn’t come across very strongly. “It is not only her mother’s magazine, but Noa’s manager is also Linda’s manager, so there have been discussions there.”

Rob thinks it is especially weak that Noa plays the victim on behalf of her mother. She states that Linda has been ‘destroyed’ and that people no longer allowed her on television. Nonsense, says Rob. “I maintain: Linda de Mol is not destroyed.”

Eyebrows furrowed

Noa should not exaggerate, says Rob. “She has received some serious questions about her modest share in a much bigger thing, people have raised their eyebrows because she wanted Jeroentje back, while everyone is like: well, put that awful guy in the garbage. But it’s nothing more than that, because in the end: it’s her life.”

Luuk thinks that girl is just inflating it all a bit. “Well, it also said: ‘People had said that my mother should no longer be on television.’ Yes, but who? Yeah, I’ve actually never heard anyone say that.”

Self-pity

Maybe someone on Twitter, Rob continues. “Yes, maybe Jantje, Pietje, trakortje, three Luxembourgish flags, 777 on Twitter. But yes, if I have to take it seriously.”

Luuk: “Yes, exactly.”

Rob: “Then I think: yes, but it was so long ago. It’s been almost two years. And then she is still in so much self-pity that you mention the opinions of people that really don’t matter.”
