Luuk Ikink corrects Ferry Doedens: ‘He just talks nonsense’

Luuk Ikink is quite annoyed by Ferry Doedens’ suggestion that RTL Boulevard should not call any news. “I’m 100,000 percent sure that’s just nonsense.”

When it’s just a bit quiet around Gordon, we get a junior version in return: Ferry Doedens. Really does everything to appear in the media. And what if something unwelcome is called? Then he finds all that media attention terrible. For example, he recently also lashed out at RTL Boulevard, Luuk Ikink’s show section.

Ferry angry at BLVD

Ferry states that Boulevard spreads all sorts of nonsense about him: “You can easily make me cry now. I have had a few times that I just had RTL Boulevard on and heard my own name, that I thought: okay, so they have made something new again, but did not ask me for a reaction or anything.

What nonsense Ferry is spouting here, Luuk responds in De BLVD Podcast. “Well, I’m 100,000 percent sure that’s nonsense, because the very first thing we always do when we have something with news is that we call the main character. There is no reason not to do that.”

Luke responds

It is unfair that Ferry puts his editors in a bad light, says Luuk. “I just think he didn’t see his phone or missed an app. I find it remarkable. I find it interesting… Apparently he is watching, he sees himself and is annoyed that he is in the news again.”

Colleague Rob Goossens: “Yes, well, the joke is, and that is something that more celebrities have: they really enjoy being in the news, until it is something they like less and then they go suddenly complain that there are more important things to discuss than their lives.”

Crazy for attention

Ferry just loves attention, Rob knows. “When Ferry Doedens had a supporting role as a Nazi in a film, he also loved speaking to us for an item. And when his theater show is discussed, he also likes it.”

He continues: “But when it turns out that the theater show has not sold any tickets, he suddenly wonders what is so interesting about Ferry Doedens that he is being discussed in Boulevard.”

‘A little crazy’

Luuk points out that Ferry handed out his sneer to Boulevard in the Van Dorst Farm. “It is strange to say: ‘There are more important things than Ferry Doedens’, while you are being interviewed with three cameras around you and telling you about your own life!”

Rob: “He made a theater show about his own life, so he simply said: ‘There is actually nothing more important than the life of Ferry Doedens.’ Actually, the moment he dares to claim one more time that he thinks there are more important things than Ferry Doedens, we only have to send back a poster of his theater show.”
