Luuk Ikink has aroused a lot of annoyance with Caroline de Bruijn, actress in the soap opera Good Times Bad Times. “She and her husband Erik de Vogel were really a bit outraged.”
Luuk Ikink’s career is currently at its peak: as a presenter of RTL Boulevard, he is the face of the eve of RTL 4. Before, when he was not yet an A-star, he worked for BNN, among others. He also regularly had to interview well-known Dutch people for that broadcaster.
Uncomfortable
What was the most awkward interview? Luke explains The BLVD Podcast. “I’ve had a lot of them, including uncomfortable interviews. I once interviewed Ludo and Janine. Erik Vogel and Caroline de Bruijn. I had to interview them at Radio 1. They had made a travel program.”
What kind of travel program? “For RTL that was on Saturday afternoon, I believe, or in the early evening. And I had also watched that program.”

Luuk found it easy to watch TV, but no more than that. “I told them, because I really thought it was a nice program, but I said: ‘I liked it so much, sit comfortably.’ And ‘a bit frumpy’, I said. And then they didn’t like at all that I thought that was frumpy.”
Then why did he say that? “I worked at BNN, yes, I was used to Weg Met BNN. There was always someone jumping off an apartment building with a wire. And this wasn’t. This was just really a… But they thought so… Later, after the interview, they also came to me like: ‘Yes, but why did you think that was frumpy?’.”
Outraged
Luuk remembers well that Caroline and Erik were just a little offended. “They were really a bit outraged.”
