The big bang theory actor known from the series Kate Micucci, 43, says he got lung cancer. The actor talked about his illness and the surgery he underwent over the weekend on Tiktok.
– I am in the hospital because I was operated on for lung cancer yesterday. The cancer was detected really early.
Micucci was surprised to receive the diagnosis.
– Really strange, because I have never smoked in my life.
– However, this is the case and the best news is that the cancer was detected in time and was able to be removed, so I’m fine, he continues.
The cancer was found when Micucci had blood tests and the values were exceptionally high. He went for further tests and was referred for imaging.
The actor, who is also pursuing a career as an artist, plans to return to work as soon as possible.
– My movements will probably be slow for the next few weeks, but after that I will be really active again.

Micucci is remembered as Lucy in the series Rillit huurussa, who suffered from a strong fear of social situations. The actor was involved in seasons 6, 7 and 10 of the favorite series.
