De presidentsverkiezingen in Brazilië zijn more exciting uitgedraaid dan watched. Oud-President Lula da Silva wins the first round with 48 percent of the votes, what camp is in front of the Peilingen. Op Twitter voegt hij daaraan toe dat hij “houdt van campagne voeren” en ernaar uitkijkt om nu met Bolsonaro in personal debate te kunnen gaan, “zodat we vergelijkingen kunnen maken tussen het Brazilië dat hij bouwde en het Brazilië dat wij bouwden”.

How would President Bolsonaro react?
Right-wing president Jair Bolsonaro said the result was overwinning. Hij zegt al maanden dat de Peilingen hem onder Schatten, en krijgt met deze uitslag nu ook gelijk.
Hij sprakkisteren also van vervalste verkiezingen, en hintte erop dat fraude de enige way zou zijn waarop hij zou verliezen, maar daar is geen enkel bewijs von aanwijzing voor.
