The Roma center forward is no longer followed by American society: Romelu’s recent choices are among the causes of the separation
There is a rift between Romelu Lukaku and Roc Nation Sports, the agency founded by Jay-Z which was responsible for protecting and promoting the Belgian’s image and career. From what The Telegraph reports, the choice would have come after the difficult summer spent by the attacker, with tensions with Inter and Juve before joining Roma. Lukaku’s behaviour, also thanks to the refusal of the offer from Saudi Arabia, would have irritated the rapper-entrepreneur’s agency, which thus decided – shortly after the confirmation of the loan to the Giallorossi – to no longer follow him. In fact, his name does not appear in the recent list of represented footballers, where instead talents such as Dimarco and De Bruyne appear.

Lukaku, who started his adventure at Roma in the best possible way by scoring both in the league and in Europe, had been linked to Roc Nation since the end of 2018, but had already been represented in the various negotiations by the lawyer Sebastien Ledure in the last period. How much the break with Roc Nation will affect the Belgian’s future will be understood at the end of the season, when Romelu will temporarily return to London at the end of his loan: the agency boasts excellent relations with Chelsea owner Boehly, a circumstance certainly favorable to the attacker. It is worth remembering that in the new contract the English club had set a release clause of 37 million pounds and a significant salary cut in case he was forced to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of this season.
