Lukewarm is zone 30, opponents take away signs

The current city council makes road safety a priority. The generalization of zone 30 in residential areas is an essential part of this. That is why all centers and residential areas in Menen, Lauwe and Rekkem have been designated zone 30 in the new local mobility plan. The first new zones have been active since 1 May.

But especially in Lauwe it takes some getting used to. The zone 30 is too big, it sounds there. There, after just one day, several zone 30 signs had disappeared. They were suddenly hanging in Rekkem, or they were for sale online. In the meantime, all plates are back in place.
