Motorsports promise Luka Moss list, 15, will move to the wheel of a Formula 4 car next season. His new stable is the French R-ace GP.
In addition to the driver’s contract, Sammalisto also receives sponsorship support from the stable’s partner. The sponsorship agreement covers one third of the youngster’s season budget.
Ylöjärvälenen was selected for the R-ace crew during a five-day test camp, where the drivers’ driving skills and physique were measured. There were also five other experienced karting drivers at the camp, but the Finn took the win and the team spot.
Pierre Gasly and Oscar Piastri have previously moved from the ranks of R-ace to the F1 series.

Sammalisto is the 2022 karting OK class Finnish champion and belongs to AKK-Motorsport ry’s national motor sports team, Flying Finn Academy.
The F4 season starts in January, and the winter tests of the series start already this week in France.
