The 2020 runner-up prevailed in a catch-up game against second-to-last BG Göttingen with 104:76 (54:46) and celebrated their fifth success in the last six games. Ludwigsburg is two victories behind leader and champion ratiopharm Ulm. Göttingen, on the other hand, lost for the seventh time in a row.
The Bamberg Baskets defeated the Rostock Seawolves 93:83 (49:33). As eleventh in the table, the nine-time champions are back in direct contact with the play-off places after their second win in a row.
Göttingen led until two minutes before halftime, then Ludwigsburg pulled away. The best thrower was Elijah Childs with 23 points. Adrian Nelson and Zach Copeland each collected 15 points for Bamberg.
