The American singer-songwriter Lucy Dacus released her third album HOME VIDEO in June 2021. Among other things, ME author Stefan Hochgesand listened to “lovable, queer college rock”. This spring Dacus wanted to play five concerts in Germany. Fortunately, she will continue to do so despite the ongoing corona pandemic. Only a few dates have been postponed or moved to other locations. Only the concert in Jena is cancelled.

Among other things, Lucy Dacus is known as the third member of the indie band boygenius. The trio of Phoebe Bridgers, Adrienne Lenker and Dacus was founded in 2018. The musician previously released her solo debut NO BURDEN in 2016 and her follow-up HISTORIAN two years later. On her current album, Lucy Dacus mainly processes memories of growing up in the US state of Virginia and the alienation she now feels from this area.
