For the first time in history, HCAW captured the European title. The Bussum baseball team did that for its own team. In the final, HCAW defeated defending champion Parma from Italy with convincing numbers, 11-4.
After two previous lost finals, the national champion has now won the Champions Cup. Homeruns by Victor Draijer, Shurman Marlin and Max Draijer accounted for the very big win.
