Sprinter Gina Lückenkemper has met the norm for the European Athletics Championships (15th to 21st August) in Munich with her best time for almost three years.

The 2018 European Championship runner-up completed the 100 m in 11.21 seconds at a meeting in Regensburg on Saturday and thus moved to the top of the national best list.

Most recently, the two-time World Cup semi-finalist completed the 100 m faster (11.15 seconds) at the ISTAF in Berlin in September 2019. The norm for the European Championships in Munich’s Olympic Stadium is 11.24 seconds.
