FOOTBALL – LTC has won the make-up game against DESZ from Zwartsluis with 2-1. The Assenaren made up for the 0-1 deficit after the break and won 2-1.
Because of that victory, LTC is again in third place in this class, behind Gorecht and DZOH. That third place seems essential for a place in the playoffs at the end of the season.
Arjan Krabbe gave the guests the lead after fifteen minutes of play. Until half time, the home team could not really make a fist, except for an attempt by Imre de Jonge. Fortunately, ten minutes after the break it was equal. A shot by De Jonge slipped through the fingers of the DESZ goalkeeper, after which Romano Djababoe could simply shoot in. Seven minutes later, Djababoe was the principal and Stefan Kuntz scored the 2-1. Marc Heerings then still had the chance to make it 3-1, but first he encountered the goalkeeper and in the rebound he hit the post.
