A low-loader with three truck cabins collided with the Smalbroek viaduct near Beilen this afternoon. One of the cabins flipped open, the other two were also damaged.
The accident happened on the secondary road next to the A28. The Spanish driver was guided by his navigation system at the Spier exit of the A28 and drove via the secondary road in the direction of Beilen. The Smalbroek viaduct turned out to be too low for the combination.
The driver was not injured.
