Oxford-based electro-pop band Low Island have announced a new album. Life In Miniature will be released on November 4th via their own label Emotional Interference / AWAL. The first single “Can’t Forget” is now available as a sample.
“It’s a reflection on the intoxication of youth and the fear of growing up,” singer Carlos Posada said of the new song. The second stanza is dedicated to a personal memory: the day Posada left his parents’ house. “As I was driving down the street, I saw in the mirror of my car my father waving at me and crying.” He would never forget that.
The band promises that “Life In Miniature” will be a work between “grainy, emotional introspection” and “understanding and acceptance of the big picture”. Follow in the footsteps of Oxford bands like Glass Animals, Radiohead and the Foals. here the album can be pre-ordered.
