Oxford-based electro-pop quartet Low Island have announced the release date for their second album, LIFE IN MINIATURE, on November 4th, 2022. The first single was released on July 7, 2022 “Can’t Forget” velvet music video released.
LIFE IN MINIATURE is a journey through life
Low Island define their new work as a kind of photo album – “a journey through three years of accelerated change that felt like a lifetime”. The album promises to be an exciting exhibition between emotional introspection and understanding and acceptance of the big picture.
Between childhood and adulthood
The song “Can’t Forget” is about the transition from childhood to adulthood. Singer Carlos Posada revels in memories from the past: “It’s a reflection on the headlessness of youth and the fear of growing up. The second stanza is a nod to the day I left home. As I drove down the street, I saw my father crying and waving at me. It’s one of those memories that’s etched right in my mind and I’ll never forget.”
Low Island live in Germany
Low Island will be on tour in Germany in September 2022.
