love tactics 2the review

“Just like in fairy tales, isn’t saying yes to prince charming, to the man you love, every girl’s dream?” love tactics 2 start with this question. It dissects the theme of the fairy tale in a light key, understood as the realization of the romantic dream. Cinema is full of examples, just remember one title above all: pretty woman.

Asli answers. “We’re just not there,” he says, “Don’t you give girls a doll? This is how she prepares them to be mothers. What else will they dream of but marriage?”. Her friends Cansu and Meltem (Yasemin Yazici) helplessly witness the tirade. However, from the initial frames to the end credits we are witnessing a complete transformation of the protagonist. As a convinced feminist, independent, refractory to a contract, becomes a woman with only one goal: to have a wedding ring on her finger. And he does everything to get it.

The film is a romantic comedywhich follows the path traced by the first chapter, released in February 2022. That is it alternates scenes centered on the relationship between Asli and Kerem with others that border on the absurd. To the point from be overly fake or unbelievable. Some of the characters, then, are borderline speck and the dialogues often don’t dig deep.

The trump card, however, is represented by the protagonist, Demet Özdemir, a true star of Turkish television. And its presence is enough to ensure a large part of the success of all the products in which it participates. In Italy she was consecrated by Daydreamer – The wings of the dreamTurkish series in which he acted alongside Can Yaman.
