The novelty of Love in the Jungle really breaks the formula of traditional dating programs when fourteen singles heading to the jungle get to try out the mating rituals of the animal kingdom in practice. Participated in the program Paige says in an interview with Iltalehti that Love in the Jungle seemed more interesting in its concept than traditional reality programs.
– I was interested because this was so different and exciting. The program gave me the opportunity to go into an area of discomfort and maybe even find love.
Reality also hears the voice of the presenter explaining the events of the jungle and the twists and turns of the love life of singles in the style of a nature documentary. In the series of love seeker Austin notes to Iltalehti that this feature also links the nature of the program well together.
– The concept is different when we couldn’t talk. It brings uniqueness to the program, Austin compels Paige.
Participants found that wordless communication and flirting quickly caused changes in their own behavior – and eventually in their thought patterns as well.
– Had to change my own behavior completely. How do I charm someone or get to know each other without words? Even if I knew he might be interested in me, Paige says she was thinking.
– It was definitely challenging but also gave new perspectives on dating and getting to know each other.

Participants compete in mating rituals familiar from the animal world. The prize for the competition is dating, which means that talking is finally possible. Paige and Austin say that with the dates, first impressions began to come to life.
– Everyone was really excited about the date when they finally got to talk. First impressions changed as we began to open up to each other, Austin notes.
– In the beginning, everything was based on physical attraction. When I got to talk to people, my opinions changed as the connection was allowed to build on a much deeper level. It also gave me the opportunity to meet people I didn’t think I was in contact with at all. Definitely could click with people I didn’t think I could find a contact with at first, Paige times to get to know each other.
The jungle allowed for authenticity
According to Paige, the jungle was very peaceful and being in the heart of nature made possible many things that leave no room for the hectic nature of the modern world.
– The experience brought out the authentic side of myself. We couldn’t talk, we were in a challenging environment. It was a really good experience from which I learned a lot.
Austin goes on to say that being away from the phone and social media in particular is a widespread view.
– I’m not used to being without a phone and it should be checked all the time. The jungle allowed emotions to form in a short time, as only one of us was there. I now appreciate more acquaintance on a deep level.

An eye-opening experience
According to Paige, the things experienced in the jungle have borne fruit even after the filming. According to him, Love in the Jungle was an eye-opening experience.
– You don’t really know what kind of connection you can find with another. I give time for a deeper acquaintance and I am genuine myself when I get to know others. It’s really important, and we don’t do this enough “in real life.” The experience in the jungle opened my eyes to more meaningful connections.
Austin jokes that he can now appreciate even the little amenities of everyday life more, because there was no air conditioning or a warm shower in the jungle, for example. The man says that like Paige, he also gained new insights into the dating front with the filming.
– I learned how to make deeper connections. We are so blinded by dating apps that it’s easy to be selective, always swipe to the next one and experiment with someone else. I learned how to love in a deeper way, Austin sums up.
