ARD presenter Stefan Mross and his wife Anna-Carina Woitschack have split up. Both announced this in identical statements on Friday afternoon in the social networks. After the serious marriage crisis, the separation is now official.
Mross and Anna-Carina write: “After the countless speculations of late, we would like to share “our” truth with you… Life has had many challenges in store for us lately, too many… If one can say, ‘In good ways in bad times’ then we… We had a wonderful and crazy time, fought our way through many a storm and can still look into each other’s eyes lovingly. Separate and yet together, individuals and yet a unit. Soul mates and now everyone goes their own way. The more beautiful and fuller the memory, the more difficult the separation. But gratitude turns the memory into a quiet joy. We cannot predict what is important in life. It is the first time that we are commenting on our situation, so we ask you to refrain from further speculation about the protection of our privacy. Your Anna & Stefan”
Moderator Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschack were a couple for six years, two of whom were married. They celebrated the marriage proposal and wedding on Florian Silbereisen’s ARD shows.
BILD had already reported on a marriage crisis in the couple in September. Mross confirmed at the time: “We had three difficult months, we were separated a lot.”
