Korfball club AKC Blauw-Wit has strengthened itself with Lindsy Krop and Scott De Decker. The two acquisitions recently moved together in Zaandam and played at Groen Geel in recent seasons.
“The role of having to pull the cart at Groen Geel is not for me at the moment,” says Lindsy Krop on the Blauw-Wit site. The 25-year-old player also played for the Amsterdam korfball club in the past. “There is more competition at Blauw-Wit and there is a good plan for the future, which I think fits better with my ambitions and development.”
Scott De Decker missed part of the competition last season due to an injury. The 23-year-old korfball player is now fit again. De Decker played a total of two seasons for Groen Geel.
Last season, Blauw-Wit finished eighth in the Korfball League. Green Yellow was one place lower in the ranking. The korfball club from Wormer maintained its position after a win in the play-downs.
