Louis Vuitton’s literary journey continues.
In the most recent publication of the ‘Fashion Eye’ collection, a photo book series from the French luxury fashion house that presents cities, regions or countries through the fashion lens of photographers, Great Britain is the next stop. The British documentary photographer Martin Parr shows an unfiltered view of the island nation’s land and people.
Around 100 images from the four corners of the United Kingdom, taken between 1998 and today, show snapshots of the lives of the British people, nature and important but also everyday events. The indispensable umbrella and the national flag, the ‘Union Jack’, are typical protagonists throughout the illustrated book.
‘Fashion Eye United Kingdom’ will be available from April 5th in the brand’s stores and online shop as well as selected bookstores. The price of the book is 55 euros.
