Louis Vuitton is conquering the world of podcasts. Together with fashion journalists, documentary filmmakers and YouTuber Loïc Prigent, the French luxury fashion house is giving a behind-the-scenes look, Louis Vuitton announced last week.
The bi-monthly podcast is called “Louis Vuitton [Extended]” and is a “20- to 40-minute glimpse into the creative heart of the house.” The podcast is hosted by Prigent, who meets with “the creative minds” behind the brand, such as womenswear creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, and artistic director of watches and jewelry Francesca Amfitheatrof. Listeners will also learn about the artists, designers, athletes, architects, chefs and other companions of the Maison who play a role in the realization of the fashion house’s events and collaborations.
The podcast’s first guest is Menswear Creative Director Pharrell Williams, who reflects on his first men’s collection with the French luxury house, his inspirations and what inspired him. William’s uncle Bishop Ezekiel Williams, who also played an important role in the fashion show, also has his say in the first episode of the podcast.
The podcast “Louis Vuitton [Extended]” is now available for free on all audio streaming platforms.
