Louis van Gaal comes to the aid of Ajax in crisis as an advisor to the supervisory board.
The former national coach will not take a seat on the body himself, but will help the club with technical football matters as an external advisor, Ajax reports.
“In this way, the vacant position of former supervisory board member Jan van Halst will be filled, who recently decided not to return to the supervisory board once his term as temporary director of general affairs at Ajax expires,” the Amsterdam club said.
