Missi and mountaineer Lotta Hintsa, 34, says on her Instagram account that she had surgery. The operation has concerned lumps in Lota’s breasts, which have been removed.
– Last night, five minutes after I was put to sleep.
– Everything went well and the lumps in my chest are now gone, says Lotta.
The mountaineer tells Iltalehte that the findings are recent.
– I found one lump myself and the ultrasound found a couple more. One of them grew rapidly. Removed it and the others at the same time.
– In principle, there shouldn’t be anything malignant, but it’s hard to say when the lab results haven’t come back. I would dare to say that there is nothing, Lotta says.
Lotta received medical treatment from the private sector. He wanted to prioritize the speed of the process with his decision. Lotta recently returned from her previous mountain climbing trip and wants to get to the next trip as soon as possible.
However, there is plenty of time to recover from surgery. Lotta says that she will be recuperating for a few weeks. Hintsa’s best friend is a nurse and she takes care of Lota when she is sick.
