Lotta Harala’s dam broke on Instagram: “I couldn’t take it anymore”

Harala posted a sad update.

Lotta Harala, who suffered from a tibia stress fracture for a long time, is frustrated with her situation.

The 31-year-old hurdler was in good shape last summer, but the shin problem from three years ago is still bothering him, and nothing has come of the winter training.

Harala poured out his feelings on Instagram. He said he felt restless and restless.

– Even though the healing process of the lower leg is progressing at a good pace, there is no way I could take it any longer, he wrote.

– Yesterday I was watching the hurdle tests of my competitors Nooralota (Neziri) and Reeta (Hurske), and for some reason it took me surprisingly hard. I was so excited to go running myself!

Harala is once again afraid that he will start the summer season a long way behind the other runners. He has jogged the last time in August.

– I get a lot of questions about how I stay positive all the time and cope with long rehabilitation. The answer is I won’t stay. But I feel it is also the reason why I can do this. I let all the feelings come and live through them. That way, they won’t stay smoldering under the surface for a longer time, advises Aturi.

– These feelings are rarely shared here, but yes, this battle with the same leg injury that has lasted more than three years is really starting to feel numb.

Last summer, Harala ran to a new record of 12.85. He broke 13 seconds in a total of five races.

In the 2021 and 2022 seasons, Harala was unable to compete at all.
